SUMMARY:Webinar: Introduction to Catena X
DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Andreas Wollny\, Senior Manager Digitalisation\, BASF SE\nCatena-X is the first collaborative\, open data ecosystem for the automotive industry. The primary goal of Catena-X is to create a secure and reliable data exchange platform that allows companies to share and access data throughout the automotive value chain. This includes data related to manufacturing\, logistics\, sustainability and other aspects of the automotive industry. \nThe initiative aims to improve efficiency\, reduce costs and enable new business models by leveraging the potential of data-driven services. It also aims to establish common standards and promote collaboration among different companies in the industry. Catena-X is supported by various industry organisations\, including automotive manufacturers\, suppliers and technology companies. In the presentation\, the role of a raw material supplier in Catena-X will be discussed including the benefits of standardisation. \nAndreas has been working in digitalisation and sustainability in the BASF Performance Materials Division since 2016\, and is the BASF project lead for Catena-X\, supporting digital solutions. \nInga Herrmann\, Sustainability Lead at Ergon International\, Inc.\, will facilitate the webinar. \nRegistration closes on February 21 (Wednesday)\, at 5:00 PM SGT. \nFree for active ALIA members.
