The inaugural ALMU Dinner was held at the Raffles Town Club in Singapore on 26 November 2019. The year-end networking event was attended by 28 individuals representing 21 companies from Singapore, China, Thailand and Indonesia. The event included networking cocktails and dinner, followed by a presentation from Bernard Wong, Chair/CEO Coach for Vistage Asia Connect, and Senior Advisor/Operating Director for Hafnium Hafaway Private Equity Investment, on “Doing Business in China and The Impact of the US-China Trade War.” Bernard spent 19 years in China, four and a half years in Hangzhou with the BP-Sinopec retail joint venture and 14 and a half years in Shanghai with Lubrizol, where he served as the Asia Pacific region head.
