As regulatory agencies continue to blur the lines between formaldehyde-condensate and formaldehyde toxicity, the list of approved active substances has steadily dwindled. In this session, Fred will trace the history of metalworking fluid microbicide regulation, provide a critical overview of today’s most commonly used actives, and emphasize the importance of efficacy testing tailored to individual formulations.
