LANXESS cuts guidance as weak markets hit Q2 results

LANXESS has lowered its earnings outlook for 2025 after second-quarter results showed declining sales and profits amid a challenging global environment and weak demand across all segments. The German specialty chemicals company reported sales of EUR 1.47 billion (USD 1.60 billion) in the quarter, down 12.6% year-on-year, while EBITDA pre exceptionals fell 17.1% to EUR 150 million (USD 164 million)….
