MPOB pitches palm-based oils to cut MOSH, MOAH in mills

The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) used the Asian Lubricant Exhibition (ALE) 2026 to press the case for replacing mineral-oil lubricants in palm oil mills with palm-based, food-grade alternatives, arguing that lubricants are a traceable source of mineral oil hydrocarbon contamination in edible oil.
